YakTrax
I tested the YakTrax Pro out today on a 4+ mile run, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed. I traversed everything from deep snow to compacted ice, yet never lost my footing or felt unsafe. I tried the same route, which includes some steep up and downhill, with regular trail shoes, and I was slowed to almost a crawl on the uphill. Today I was flying. They're snow tires for your shoes.

Never heard of them, but they look awesome. I'm assuming that they are comfortable to put your weight on.

Did you get these when we were at the store last? Did you get your gloves. I finally picked mine up and tested them today....toasty warm after 1 mile.
Yep, but I got the wrong size, so I had to exchange them when I picked up the gloves. The gloves worked amazing too. I'm actually enjoying winter running.
My best friend who loves gadgets bought me these. They are a must have!
