Wetzlar Germany

I'm a little behind in posting these photos from my business trip to Germany a few weeks ago.

Early in the trip we happened upon this little place called Cafe Vinyl. They specialize in Arabian Pizza. They also sell records. It's the kind of quirky place I love.

We held our reception in Marburg, next to a stunning castle. This is the view of the city below, including St. Elizabeth's Church.

The Castle

Rebbecca and Cathy making there way down the cobblestone path in heels.

Our big event was the next day in the Rittal Arena. The crowd swelled inside the lobby before we opened the doors.

The green room

I'm obsessed with fancy food displays. I thought they did a nice job with the green room food

I also provided a well stocked fridge. Coke really does taste better straight from a glass bottle.

Where we ate dinner our final night. This was a very fortunate accident, as we had no idea if it would be any good. Turns out, it was freaking amazing. I don't know what Enoteca de Bona means, but it certainly gave me one.

I ordered the 4 course Chef's Surprise. This fig and prosciutto pasta dish was to die for. So were the other 3 courses, as well as what everyone ordered around me. I would have taken more photos, but I was too busy indulging in unspeakable delights of the palate.

Was Vin Di Bona at the restaurant? Just curious.
