I've got well over 100 race shirts. Most of them hang, lonely and forlorn, in my closet. I'm now giving them a second life in the form of a race t-shirt quilt. I've chosen to make it the way our pioneer ancestors did, by hand. One stitch at a time. It's a long process, but surprisingly therapeutic. Plus, it helps me feel somewhat productive while I'm watching TV.
